Ok so here's the thing about finding a private event venue in Vaughan. A lot of places will tell you its “private” but then you get there and there's literally another party on the other side of a curtain. Like a curtain. Not even a wall. You can hear their music, their uncle doing karaoke, everything. That's not private. That's just two events happening next to each other.
At Events by Forty its actually private. The space is yours. Full stop. No shared rooms, no random people walking through, no competing with another group's playlist. You control the vibe. You control the music. The whole evening is about your group and nobody else's.
It's a modern Italian resto-lounge so the atmosphere already has this classy, put-together feel without being, I don't know, stuffy or pretentious. Like you feel fancy but you also feel comfortable? If that makes sense.
What Kind of Events Work Here
What kind of events work here? Basically anything. Birthday parties, engagement celebrations, retirement dinners, baby showers, family reunions, corporate things — we've done all of it. The space is flexible enough that one weekend its set up for a elegant sit-down dinner and the next week its cocktail tables and a mingling setup.
That adaptability is something people really appreciate because not every event needs the same layout.
And the food — ok the food is really good. Full Italian catering made fresh in our kitchen. Not from some outside company that shows up with lukewarm trays and leaves. Real food, real ingredients, real care. People talk about the food after. Like actually bring it up in conversation days later.
Bar service is all in-house too — wine, cocktails, beer, whatever people are drinking. One less thing you need to arrange separately.

This is probably the part that surprises people most. Decor, styling, setup, even cleanup — its all included. You're not juggling five different vendors and praying they all show up on time and get along with each other. Events by Forty handles it so you can actually enjoy your own event instead of running around all night making sure nothing's falling apart.
We plan everything with you beforehand. A centerpiece, table decor, the mood of lighting, choice of music — all that can be sorted out in advance of the day. And as you come in, it is all just like you imagined it. That anticipation of your event being put up and it is ready? Its pretty great honestly.
The place accommodates approximately 50 to 100 people which I believe is perfect in most of the personal events. Large enough that there is actual excitement in the room — you know, the buzz people get when they are having fun. Not just waving at people from across some massive hall.
